    CAYC has a new World Champion

    Calum Pollard - Topper 4.2 World Champion! Three CAYC members made the journey to Lake Garda in Italy to compete in the 2022 Topper World Championships. Rory Pollard had a great Championship getting into Gold Fleet. Friday, DSQ at the fault of the Jury gave him a maximum point score.     CAYC has a new Irish Champion!

    Calum became the Topper 4.2 Irish National Champion with a strong seven 1st's.Rory fell just outside the podium in his division in the 5.3's coming 4th Junior Boy. Luke Simpson became the "comeback kid" from all the breakages on Saturday with a 7th, 4th and 3rd on the Sunday. Well done to all the boys

    Club Successes - home and away

    It's been a busy weekend for CAYC sailors at home and away! Luke Simpson, Rory Pollard and Calum Pollard represented the club at Waterford Harbour Sailing Club for the Topper Ireland Nationals. There were some great results across the racing for all the boys with Calum becoming the Topper 4.2 Irish Champion Travelling slightly closer to home Daniel Corbett and Jenna Reid sailed

    CAYC Sailors at Topper Winter Championships

    Well done to Luke, Rory and Calum who sailed this weekend (19/20 March) in difficult conditions at Royal North of Ireland Yacht Club Topper Winter Championships! Rory finished 2nd Junior Male Topper 5.3 and Calum 1st Overall Topper 4.2 . Luke was please that in a fleet of 30+ he achieved an11th overall, following several capsizes.

    RYA Safety Boat - Success

    On Saturday 5 & Sunday 6 March, the Club completed a course for 6 participants. PB Instructor Richard Robinson had organised a great course with many instructors and volunteers to provide " real world" incidents to be resolved. It was cold and challenging for all. At least there was sunshine!
