The Craft Club got together in early December for a festive wreath making session, using foraged materials from their gardens and some tricky ribbons! Thanks to the organisers and to Stephen Foster for keeping everyone going with delicious mulled wine. Craft Club meets every 3rd Wednesday in the club throughout the year. CAYC Junior Committee and Juniors were stallholders at the Victorian Street Fair selling their now internationally renowned Cadbury's Hot Chocolate Reindeer. Around 25 Juniors were involved in this whole process from the Production Department to the Sales Team and All were led by our Junior Committee. Their efforts were not in vain as they sold a staggering £525 worth selling approx. 200 Reindeer Hot Chocolate resulting

On 23rd November 10 couples enjoyed a great 'Night to remember' at the Belfast Titanic Hotel celebrating 10 years since the club reopened after it's major refurbishment. A tour of the hotel preceded a fantastic dinner and evening, with an overnight stay. Many thanks to Margaret Mooney for organising this fantastic event.

The Rambling Club had a 5.5 mile ramble of moderate difficulty (grade 2/5) originating from Carlingford Village on 16 November. They had a great day out with beautiful scenery. The Rambling Club organises regular walks, and the next walk is tentatively planned for the spring.

A fantastic Quiz Night was held on 26 October. 10 teams competed with an overall attendance of 60 plus participants and several spectators - a packed house! Some light snacks were provided throughout the evening with a break at the "catch phase" round giving everyone a well deserved rest! A great night was had by all. The RYA NI Youth Championships/NI Schools' Cup was held at Strangford Lough Yacht Club from 21-22 September. There was a large fleet of over 160 sailors and some challenging wind conditions. 13 sailors and results contributed to CAYC coming 3rd Club overall in the Club Competition!
