The Club has an active cadre of members who enjoy sea kayaking.

Plans are to further develop this section in 2019 and new paddlers of all abilities are welcome to participate. You don't need a boat to give paddling an initial try!

Contact David Jamison at 07595 894561 for more information on plans for this section.

Events for 2019:-

Push the Boat Out: 11 May 2019

Taster sessions were available to members and non-members to try out canoeing.

Follow-on courses were offered to interested Members and Visitors.

Portmuck Paddle and BBQ: June 2019

Participants paddled from CAYC along the shore, passing the Gobbins, to Portmuck. A barbecue for all followed onshore with additional members joining along with a few other boats for an enjoyable afternoon.

Nightime Paddle - returning to CAYC by the stars!

It was hoped to have a nighttime paddle once the evenings stretched out, hopefully June, but the weather was not conducive.
