Kayaking
The Club has an active section of members who enjoy sea kayaking.
Plans are to further develop this section in 2021 and new paddlers of all abilities are welcome to participate. You don't need a boat to give paddling an initial try!
Contact via email: sail@cayc.co.uk or raise a query on @CAYCWHITEHEAD public facebook for more information on plans for this section
2020 has seen a growth in members paddling, particularly women and parents which is great to see. Whilst children are sailing, they too can be on the water.
Development is also being seen in skillsets with several young members keen to become instructors.
A course is hoped to be organised when Covid-19 restrictions are eased. Also an in-house safety awareness is planned.
4 of our Members are progressing Leadership skills and certification.
